The Earth Rangers Show At The ROM

On May 16, 2009, the much anticipated Earth Rangers Studio opened at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) in Toronto, Ontario. Situated in the heart of the ROM’s new, 10,000 square foot Schad Gallery of Biodiversity, the Earth Rangers Studio is an intimate, 50-seat studio that hosts our new Power of One show.

The Power of One, presented by TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, is a 15-minute, immersive multimedia show that incorporates some of our most dynamic Animal Ambassadors, including snowy owls, servals, lemurs, and kestrels. Shows take place Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Friday and Saturdays, between 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Visitors will get an “up close” experience with our ambassadors, learn about the challenges they face, and how our everyday actions affect them.

Power of One School Shows at the ROM

Teachers may wish to book an extended Power of One school show at the ROM for school groups to compliment their visit to the ROM and the biodiversity gallery. Students will get to meet two of our animal ambassadors in person during this 40-minute show, which takes place in the 50-seat Earth Rangers Studio. This show can be booked from Tuesday through Friday, at the following times: 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. or 2 p.m.

The cost for the school show is $4.75 per student and is booked directly through the ROM. Check here for school show times or contact the ROM at 416-586-8000.
